Audrey's Story

Audrey is a spayed female German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. She is 1 ½ years old and weighs 63 lbs., is up to date on all vaccinations, and dewormed. Her coloring is black and brown with some white on her chest.

A friendly girl with medium energy, she loves to play with all of her foster’s dogs, but especially her best friend, Bogy (listed on this page, too). Toys are great, especially balls, sticks, squeaky toys, and her Kong. Audrey absolutely LOVES water! She is always playing in the water bowls, her foster’s water fountain, and the pools for the dogs in the yard.

Audrey is crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She calmly stays in her crate if she is left alone when errands are run. She's good on a leash, and also loves being in a car. She loves people, but because of her size, really small children could get knocked over by her. She loves other dogs, too. Initially, she was unsure about little dogs, but her foster worked with her getting used to the smaller dogs in the home. A slow introduction would still be good if you have another dog who is small. Absolutely no cats!

To meet Audrey, who is being fostered in North San Diego County, email her foster at calfornia@aol.com. PLEASE NOTE THE UNUSUAL SPELLING OF CALFORNIA!
