This sweet boy spent far too long living on the streets, finding shelter wherever he could. Eventually, Atticus made his way onto the porch of a kindhearted person who couldn’t ignore his gentle soul and reached out to us for help. Atticus is an affectionate, people-loving boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He gets along with most other dogs, though his play style is enthusiastic and rough-and-tumble—perfect for a canine buddy who can keep up! Toys are his absolute joy, and he’s always ready to play with anything he can toss, chase, or squeak. When Atticus arrived, he was very thin, but with good care and lots of love, he’s gained weight and is thriving. Now all that’s missing is a family to call his own—a home where he can finally settle in, feel safe, and be loved forever. Approximate Birthdate: Oct 2022 Adoption Fee: Atticus's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor! TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.
