Atrix's Story

Atrix is a very shy shepherd mix of 3.5 years old who we saved from San Antonio's highest kill shelter . He is dog friendly however he feels dominated with high energy dogs and will hide . Atrix is very sweet . When you meet him he will avoid you but will approach a few minutes later. Atrix is best with a family who gives him a little bit time to warm up . When he knows he is safe , he is just like any other dog and is playful and sweet . Atrix is in foster care in Huntington NY . We don't adopt our adult shepherds to families with children under the age of 10 . We don't adopt our shepherds to apartment or condo owners . Nor do we adopt out when the yard is not fully fenced .

A-Team ELITE Rescue Dogs is a non-profit rescue based out of New York. We work primarily with German Shepherds. We pull abused and neglected dogs from high kill shelters, provide them with needed medical care including up-to-date-shots and spay/neuter.
