He absolutely adores being involved in whatever his people are doing and will often bring you "gifts" (toys, socks, or whatever treasure he finds) to show his affection. He's convinced he's a lap dog and is happiest when he's close to his humans. When the day winds down, Atlas transforms into a dramatic sleeper who fully commits to rest and relaxation.

He is very food-motivated and loves playing fetch and other interactive games. Atlas does best with an active lifestyle and would thrive with people who enjoy engaging with their dog and providing regular physical and mental outlets.

Atlas has generally been good with children and enjoys playing and greeting kids, but due to his size and enthusiasm, he does best with kids who can be supervised and supported with boundaries. When overly excited, Atlas may playfully mouth as a way of showing affection, and he appreciates gentle handling.

With other pets, Atlas has lived successfully with a cat and was friendly and tolerant. He can become overstimulated around other dogs and may benefit from slow introductions or being the only dog in the home.

Atlas is best suited for a home that can offer structure, consistent engagement, and outlets for his energy, ideally with adults who are active and enjoy spending time interacting with their dog. In the right environment, Atlas is an affectionate, fun-loving companion who will bring laughter, loyalty, and a lot of heart to his people.
