Athena

Athena is all of 8 years old—going on 1! She has the energy and drive of a puppy, ready to go at all times. Athena loves to go on walks, explore, run, bounce, and play whenever she gets the chance. She’s the happiest, most go-lucky girl around.<br/><br/>When Athena was returned with her brother Buddy, we were told they didn’t do well with the cat in their previous home. However, while playing with our office cat Jojo, Athena didn’t seem to mind him or his playfulness. She’s 25 pounds of fun and not much fluff, as you can see from her short, shiny coat.<br/><br/>When Athena originally came to CCHS, she arrived with two other dogs, and she’s recently been around another new dog—she seems to love everyone she meets! That said, if you have a dog at home, they may not appreciate her high energy, so a meet and greet is required (just like with all our dogs here at CCHS).<br/><br/>Ideally, Athena would love a family willing to take her on walks, play with her, engage her mind, and enjoy her “senior” years together.
