Athena's Story

Athena is a 10 year old husky, she is a friendly dog but not good at the vet. She isn't great with other dogs at first although she has lived with other dogs in her previous home. She is not good with cats. Athena is housetrained. She has severe allergies and needs to see a dermatologist regularly to keep them under control. She needs someone willing to continue with the care. She had been adopted but her owner is now in assisted living and the house she lived in going up for sale. Athena is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. Prospective adopters can come to our adoption center or display center, and choose a pet. They will fill out a prescreener, which we then review. Once approved, they will fill out an adoption contract for that pet. Prices, vary, depending what type of vetting was done.
