Athena's Story

Meet Athena

Sweet, sensitive, and ready for a fresh start.

Athena has been through a lot, and she’s looking for someone who’ll give her the patience and understanding she deserves. She may be timid at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle heart shines through especially when belly rubs are involved.

She’s fully house trained, walks nicely on leash after the initial excitement, and often pauses mid-walk just to ask for pets. Athena takes treats with the softest little nibble and loves toys, tug ropes, and curling up on a fluffy blanket with her favorite stuffie. Most of all, she loves being close to her person.

Athena will thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be your one and only. She’s not looking to share her space with other dogs just a human who’ll help her feel safe and cherished. We do think she'd do best in a home with older children.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll blossom with kindness, Athena is ready to meet you.

Approximate Birth Date - 12/02/2019

Size - Large (54lbs)

Likes - Belly rubs, Playing tug with a rope, chasing balls around our play area, long walks and any treat you're willing to give her! and snuggling up with her favorite blanket and stuffed animal.

Other dogs - Athena will need to be an only dog. She prefers being the center of attention and doesn't seem to do well picking up on social cues from other doggo's

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400.
