Meet Athena!<br/><br/>Athena is our sweet gentle giant — happiest when she has a toy in her mouth and a person to snuggle beside. This big-hearted girl is just discovering how fun being a puppy can be and grows more confident every day while learning from her two rambunctious siblings.<br/><br/>You’ll usually find Athena hanging out with the big dogs or relaxing on the couch right next to her humans. She loves physical affection and is generous with kisses, often bringing you toys and little “gifts” to show how excited she is to see you. Her paws are already enormous, and if they’re any indication, she’s going to grow into a very large, healthy girl.<br/><br/>Athena fits beautifully into her foster home. She does great with big dogs, is incredibly gentle with small dogs (and even the rats!), and is comfortable both with company or spending some quiet time alone. She settles nicely in her kennel and is making great progress with potty training.<br/><br/>Leash walking isn’t her favorite thing yet, but she’s willing to try and will continue to improve with patience and encouragement.
