Six months of waiting. Athena is ready for her turn. <br/><br/>For six months, Athena has been waiting for someone to choose her. In that time, this sweet gentle giant has grown from a timid puppy into a confident, loving girl who is SO ready for a forever home!<br/><br/>Athena is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She LOVES to swim, is getting better at fetch, and is rarely far from her beloved stuffed armadillo. When she isn’t playing, her favorite place is right beside her people. She loves physical affection, gives plenty of kisses, and will happily bring you toys and little “gifts” when she’s excited to see you.<br/><br/>She does great with big dogs and is incredibly gentle with small dogs, and even the rats in her foster home! She’s comfortable hanging out with the crew or enjoying some quiet time on her own.<br/><br/>And this girl has been putting in the work while she waits! Athena is now fully potty trained, settles nicely in her kennel, and is trained on an invisible fence. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but she continues to learn and gain confidence.<br/><br/>Athena’s enormous paws may have gotten bigger over the last six months, but so has her personality. She’s sweet, silly, affectionate, and just wants a family of her own to love.<br/><br/>Six months is a long time to wait.
