A beautiful, sweet, and super soft Corgi Mix (Sheltie? border collie?), Astro will melt your heart instantly! He is 8 months old and approximately 18 lbs. He is learning to use the doggie door and will need a person willing to take him out for regular potty breaks while he learns, but is doing very well. On his leashed walks, he will generally stay right by your side. Astro is a cuddler and very affectionate with people and other dogs. He has been sleeping in his crate at night and will let you know when he's ready to get going in the morning. Interactions with kids have been very positive and respectful children 8+ may be considered. He is untested with cats but with his gentle nature and even temperament, he would probably do well. Astro requires a secure fenced yard, humans who are not gone for long hours and he would love another playful sibling since he loves to run and play.
