ASTRO's Story
This young fellow is Astro! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 1/9, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe him as everything a young dog should be: friendly, curious, energetic, and playful. He has a lot of fun energy, so he'd make a great workout buddy and would love to go running or hit the trails with you! Astro also knows several commands including sit and lay down. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to commit to a young dog before adopting.

Astro is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 47 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Astro is waiting patiently in kennel 854; his ID # is 16253.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend.
