I was named after the Greek word for "star" or the Norse word meaning "divine strength" and I think these words describe me very well! My name is Astra, and I am a 40 pound, 5 1/2 year old, deaf boxer mix gal. I am going to shine like a star and it will be impossible for you not to fall in love with me. I am house trained and crate trained. I’m still working on my leash skills. I am also learning hand signal commands like "sit" and "lay down". I love attention and can be a little demanding of it! A girl wants what a girl wants though, right?. I do have very sensitive skin and my adopter will need to learn how to best care for me. A calm home would be best for me. It would be great to have a fenced yard to run around in. I get along with dogs my own size and kids, but cats are not welcome in my galaxy.
