Aston's Story

Meet our boy Aston. Just like his four-wheeled namesake, Aston is truly the total package. He has brains, athleticism, and plenty of cuddles all wrapped into one adorable pup. This 2-year-old medium sized (54 pounds) mixed breed has a handsome short white and brown coat and a fun-loving personality that makes him stand out everywhere he goes.Aston has a moderate energy level outdoors and a snuggly personality indoors He would be great at dog sports involving scent work or agility and would love a family that enjoys staying active. Aston is also a fantastic running partner and loves spending time with his people. He has done well with other dogs of all sizes and children, making him a wonderful fit for a family home. Aston has not yet met a cat, so his relationship with cats is unknown at this time. He is an A plus snuggler who enjoys affection and being close to his people. Aston can be vocal on leash when he sees other dogs from a distance, so continued positive leash work will help him continue building confidence.Aston is house trained and crate trained. He is currently working on his leash training. Although Aston is house trained, accidents can still occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Aston would thrive in a home that offers regular exercise, continued training, mental enrichment, and lots of love and companionship. If you are looking for a smart, athletic companion who can keep up with adventures during the day and cuddle on the couch at night, Aston could be the perfect match. He is ready to find a forever family that will appreciate both his playful energy and his affectionate side.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Aston is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
