Meet Aster!

Aster is about 6 years old and a Spaniel mix. She was pulled from a hoarding situation and has been in the foster program for over a year. She is timid but deserves to find a quiet and patient forever home.

Though she doesn’t know how to play she likes the companion of other calm dogs. She does like to go for walks, whether it be in the neighborhood or park.
Though she may not be a cuddly dog, she will at times accept belly rubs while she snoozes on the bed. She will, however, be your best friend if you have some yummy treats to give her, like bacon.

She does fabulous in a house with cats. Though she cannot be kenneled as she will chew her way out, she is nondestructive in the home. She would do great in a home with an owner who works from home or is home most of the day. She is mostly potty trained but can’t hold it all day so she uses potty pads.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest... with stops in - Lacey, WA, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
