Aspen - In NJ's Story
Announcing Aspen! He is settling in so well at his new foster home. Aspen was in boarding for a while, and he can't get enough snuggles with his foster family. Home is where the heart is - and Aspen is happy to be his foster family's Valentine this year! Read on to find out what Foster Mom has to say about this handsome hunk:

Aspen is a super sweet guy who was very shy. But with a little love and comfort in his foster home, he has warmed up quickly and is coming out of his shell. This smart guy knows "sit", "stay", and gives his paw. Aspen is doing great with house training in the short time he has been in NJ. He walks well on the leash and sleeps fine in his crate. But Aspen would prefer to be snuggled next to his people and catching up on some well-deserved attention. He is living with cats and doing ok with them. An all-around real mush! Aspen likes to talk to you, no barking just a howly roooo roooo. He has an adorable lip gib from a couple missing teeth, but eating is no problem for him. This dog is a trooper, leaving his sad past behind him and looking forward to a bright future with his forever family.

Aspen is the kind of dog who makes people fall in love instantly. He will make a great new family member and adore you from here to the moon and back. At 2.5 years old, he is sweet, loyal, patient, and full of heart. With his handsome face and beautiful spirit, he’s the kind of companion that doesn't come around often. Rescued from a rural kill shelter when his time was almost up, Aspen has embraced his second chance with grace. A family would be very lucky to have Aspen become a part of their lives. Aspen is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs about 50 pounds. Bring Aspen home in February by filling out a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com.
