Aspen's Story

Announcing the arrival of Aspen! Aspen is the kind of dog who makes people fall in love instantly. At 2.5 years old, he is sweet, loyal, patient, and full of heart. With his handsome face and beautiful spirit, he’s the kind of companion that doesn't come around often. Rescued from a rural kill shelter when his time was almost up, Aspen has embraced his second chance with grace. After saving Aspen, American Lab Rescue discovered he was heartworm positive. Poor Aspen has had to wait until all of his medical needs were taken care of, and now that time is here! A family would be very lucky to have Aspen become a part of their lives. He loved his photo shoot, posing with his bandana and knowing just how dignified he looks! Aspen is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and has completed heartworm treatment. He weighs about 50 pounds. Bring Aspen home in January by filling out a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com. He is hoping to be on the transport north that will arrive on January 17th. If you are not ready to adopt but think Aspen could be your guy, give fostering a try and invite him to hang out with your family. Fostering is a very rewarding experience, and you might meet your new family member! Aspen has so much to offer and is waiting patiently for the life he’s always deserved.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources Import License to Operate a Rescue Organization License # 0071

State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Certificate of Registration for Rescue/Category A License #0075

State of Connecticut Animal Importer Registration Number AIR.000.101
