Meet Aspen! <br/>Aspen is a 4-year-old Husky with all the classic Husky personality - vocal, expressive, and full of character. She'll need about two weeks to decompress as she settles into a new home and routine.<br/><br/>Aspen likes having her people nearby and enjoys being close to her person. She's food motivated, responds well to guidance, and is very sweet and affectionate. She also knows how to settle - if you're relaxing, she's happy to relax right along with you.<br/><br/>She has shown interest in other dogs and can be introduced with proper management. Aspen can be vocal at times (true Husky style!) and is currently healing from a limp, so activity should be monitored while she recovers. Aspen does well in the car and handles transitions overall very well.<br/><br/> Important note: Aspen has shown discomfort around men and may bark when men are present. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, this may improve.
