Aspen's Story

Meet Aspen, a 2-year-old Siberian Husky who’s as resilient as he is adorable.
This little 35-lb bundle of fluff was surrendered to the shelter when his family lost their home and could no longer keep him in their apartment. Heartbroken and battling a severe upper respiratory infection, Aspen landed on the euthanasia list. Our rescue pulled him just in time. With lots of love, medicine, and rest, he made a full recovery and is now healthy, neutered, fully vaccinated, and bursting with life again.

Aspen is the sweetest, most playful boy you’ll ever meet. He’s tiny for his breed mix, with those striking Husky eyes and a soft, thick coat that begs for pets. He loves nothing more than curling up right next to you for cuddles and gentle nuzzles, or heading out for a happy walk where his tail never stops wagging. He’s wonderful with kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has the perfect gentle-yet-energetic personality for family life.

One of the sweetest things about Aspen is how he’ll suddenly pause mid-walk, tilt his head up to gaze into the sky, and simply soak up the sunshine glowing on his beautiful coat—like he’s experiencing true freedom and warmth for the very first time. It melts our hearts every single time.

After everything he’s been through, Aspen deserves a soft place to land forever. He’s ready, to quite literally, fall into your lap and love you with his whole heart. Could you be his new beginning? ?
