Hi, I’m Aspen! I’m a gentle and sweet-natured boy with so much love to give. I recently arrived in Minnesota and I’m learning that I LOVE treats, running around in the snow, and playing with other dogs! I’m very treat-motivated, which my foster parents think helps a lot with training. I’m a nice mix of playful and couch potato- I like spending my days checking out all the toys and then cuddling up for a snooze. I really enjoy having another dog in my home to learn the ropes from and play with. I’m a shy guy at first but I’m gaining more and more confidence every day. My foster parents keep bragging about how much I’ve blossomed already!<br/><br/>I’ve been doing well with house training when kept on a schedule. I love my kennel and stay in it at night and when my foster parents aren’t home. I haven’t been around cats or kids yet, but would probably do best in a home with older children as I still get spooked by loud noises and sudden movements.<br/><br/>I’m learning and growing everyday, and ready to take on this new adventure! I’ve won the hearts of everyone I’ve met so far in my foster home, but I can’t wait to find my forever family. Could that be you?<br/><br/>Aspen is estimated to be 5.5 months old and 24 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention.
