Ashton's Story

Meet Ashton! Ashton entered the San Diego Humane Society's Oceanside campus as a stray, and sadly, he wasn't claimed. We scooped him up on November 3rd to become a Frosted Face! Ashton is around 13 years old and weighs 7 lbs. He is a sweet senior gentleman who is always happy to meet new friends, whether they have two or four legs! The day after Ashton arrived, one of our wonderful vet techs took him home with her for some extra TLC and to help us learn more about him. Here's what we learned about Ashton: Ashton is a fun, energetic little guy with a gentle heart and a big love for his people. He's the perfect mix of playful and snuggly - just looking for someone to share both adventures and naps with! What makes him special: Great in the car: Ash hops right onto the floorboard and into his car seat all by himself. Dog-friendly: He got along wonderfully with all the resident dogs in his foster home. Champion cuddler: Whether it's the couch or your bed, Ash just wants to be curled up beside you. Smart cookie: He figured out the magnetic screen door and doggie stairs in no time! Good sleeper: Ash loves fluffing up a cozy bed before settling in, and he sleeps through the night in his dog bed.
