Ash

Meet Ash! Ash is a 10-month-old German Wirehair mix with a sweet heart and so much love to give. She was recently surrendered, and while change can be hard, she’s handling it with a quiet and gentle grace. <br/><br/>Ash did wonderfully with the children in her previous home (ages 10, 7, and 5) and was great with their other dog. She’s used to having dog friends and did well with visiting dogs, too. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and she warms up beautifully. We're working on discovering her feelings about cats, she wasn't exposed in her previous home. <br/><br/>She loves to play, especially fetch! Balls are a favorite, and she enjoys tug toys (just not rope ones). She’s happy chewing on her toys outside and getting her energy out the healthy way. And when playtime is over? Ash is all about the cuddles and pets. She truly loves being close to her people.<br/><br/>Ash is still young, active, and ready to grow into an incredible lifelong companion. Her family had a big life change and isn't home enough for her.
