Ash's Story

Ash
Male
Mixed Breed
9 weeks old
5-6lb
I'm Ash and I'm looking for a fun home to play in. I have the most beautiful soft fur! I'm pretty mischievous. My foster mom keeps saying I'm like Houdini; I'm not sure what that means but I think it has something to do with me trying to (and sometimes succeeding in!) escape from the boundaries she sets up. I mean, I'm a puppy, I want to play and explore! I'm working on puppy pad training. I'm getting better with pee; poop is kind of tricky though. I sleep in a crate with my sister really well. I like to play chase with the 2 big dogs they have here so a fur sibling that wants to play would be nice but not absolutely necessary. I haven't been outside on a leash yet. Some of my litter mates got really sick so my foster mom is being really careful with me and my sister. I love people and kids but I am teething and have sharp teeth so just watch your little ones with me. After a good play time I like to snuggle up in a bed or a lap. Could you be my forever family? I will be ready for meet and greet May 31.
If you're interested in adopting Ash, please apply at 716paws.org or message/email us if you're pre approved.

716 Promoting Animal Welfare & Safety (716 PAWS)'s Adoption Policy
Currently we only adopt out within a 1 hour commute from the Buffalo Niagara airport. We accept any application outside of that area if the family has no other pets and is willing to come to buffalo for meet and greets with the dogs. If an applicant has other pets it is on a case by case basis weather the foster is willing to travel for the meet and greet. We will consider processing applications outside of Western New York and Rochester if the family has no other dogs in the home and is willing to come to Buffalo for the meet and greet. We do not provide transport services to out of town adopters. We do not adopt within Canada. What's Required to Adopt Required vetting for dogs: They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo. Kennel cough/Bordatella is highly recommended but not required for dogs. If current animals are not vaccinated and spayed/neutered, the application will be denied unless there is a valid reason that it was medically necessary not to perform the procedure. Required vetting for Cats:? They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies PLEASE NOTE: You must be 21 or older to adopt. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers for processing. First we will contact your vet reference if you current have pets living in the home or have had pets within the past two years. Next we will be contacting your personal references. Next is the home check. This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process, review the home, the yard and answer any questions you may have. Once the home visit is completed and if you are approved, you will be notified and can then express interest in a dog.
