Arya's Story

Meet Arya!

This girl has had a rough start to life. Arya is around 2-3yo and around 35lbs. She ended up in a kill shelter with an embedded chain and cord in her neck along with blue dye along her wounds, which we believed to be blue kote. We brought her into rescue and got her neck healed up, and have begun working on training.

She is a very loyal girl and extremely affectionate. You can tell now that she knows what love is, she cannot get enough! Arya is food motivated so training has been going very well. She is dog and bicycle reactive and had been responding very well to gradual exposure with rewards along with consistent training. Arya knows to sit, give a paw, and to walk loose leash. She has been incredible with training and definitely has potential go continue more training with her bonded person! Since Arya is still working on training and gradual exposure will take time, we do believe Arya would be best in a home as an only pet. She does have some excitable energy with her favorite person, so older kids or no kids would be best.

Arya is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
