Arya's Story

Meet Arya

Age: 12 years
Weight: 1012 lbs
Good with: Dogs & cats

Arya came to us from a shelter with her puppies. She was a wonderful mama, and now that her babies have been weaned and adopted, its Aryas turn to find her forever home.

Arya is looking for a special, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Before coming into rescue, she lacked proper socialization, and because of this, new people and unfamiliar situations can be scary for her. She is initially nervous and skittish and may snap when she feels frightened or cornered. Her behavior comes from fear, so she needs someone who will respect her boundaries rather than rush her.

Her ideal adopter will give her plenty of time to decompress, establish a routine, and build trust at her own pace.

And once Arya decides youre her person, you get to see a completely different side of her. She is a sweet, loving little soul who becomes very attached to the people she trusts. She enjoys walks, is well behaved, and loves being with her people.

Arya is also great with both dogs and cats and may benefit from having a calm, confident animal companion in her new home.

Arya isnt the dog who will necessarily fall in love with you at the first meet-and-greet. Shes the dog whose love you earn—and once you do, it means everything.

Aryas ideal home:

* Patient and experienced with shy or fearful dogs
* Willing to allow her to decompress without forcing interaction
* Comfortable working with fear-based behaviors
* Calm, predictable household
* Dogs and cats are welcome
* Committed to giving her the time she needs to truly feel safe

If youre willing to give Arya the patience, consistency, and security she has been missing, she has so much love waiting for you.

Mother Nature Care Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Mother Nature Care Animal Rescue, our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between our animals and their future families. Here's how it works: 1. **Application Submission**: Interested adopters start by completing an adoption application form available on our website. This helps us understand your lifestyle, preferences, and experience with pets. 2. **Application Review**: Our team reviews each application carefully to ensure it meets our adoption criteria. We may reach out for additional information or clarification if needed. 3. **Meet and Greet**: Approved applicants are invited to meet the animal they are interested in. This meeting helps determine if there is a good connection between the adopter and the pet. 4. **Home Visit**: A home visit may be conducted to ensure the living environment is safe and suitable for the pet. This is also an opportunity to address any concerns or questions you may have. 5. **Adoption Approval**: Once the application is approved and the home visit is completed, we finalize the adoption. Adopters sign an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover the cost of the animal's care. 6. **Transition Support**: We provide resources and support to help with the transition, including advice on care, training, and integration into your home. 7. **Follow-Up**: Our commitment doesn’t end at adoption. We follow up to ensure the pet is adjusting well and offer ongoing support as needed. Our goal is to ensure each animal finds a forever home where they are loved and cared for throughout their lifetime. Thank you for considering adoption and helping us make a difference in the lives of these animals.
