Meet Arwen
Would about 40lbs of pit bull cuddles light up your life? (Hint: YES!) Meet Arwen! This 2-3 year old just finished raising her beautiful babies and is ready to find a forever family of her own.
Arwen came to PPAWS starving and wary with her 2-day-old pups, who were born in a shelter the day after we rescued her from the euthanasia list. She was a great mom and is now ready to be a great best friend!
Arwen does well free roaming her foster’s house when there are no humans home, but would like to stick to her humans like glue when they’re around! She learned house manners very quickly and her foster thinks she could easily learn more commands, although she can jump on people when she gets excited so we are recommending that she find a home with just adults or older kids she won’t accidentally knock over with her affection. She walks well on a leash and loves to entertain herself with soft toys and bones or to play tug, chase, and wrestle with her foster siblings. Arwen enjoys the company of dogs her size or smaller, but needs slow, careful introductions to larger dogs.
She's been fixed and is up to date on all her shots and preventatives, and is heartworm negative. She has a heart murmur that her new family may want to follow up on although she doesn't have any symptoms or problems.
Her very favorite thing is snuggling her humans as much as possible! Can Arwen be your new cuddle buddy?
