Artemis's Story

Artemis is a young female dog with a heart of gold. She is quiet, but don't let that fool you - she has a playful side that comes out when she's feeling comfortable. She is a sweet and gentle dog who loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with her favorite humans. Artemis is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves to make new friends, both human and canine. She is good with other dogs and loves to play and romp around with her four-legged friends. She's a bit shy at first, but she'll warm up to you with some love and attention. Artemis is a funny and playful pup who loves to make her humans laugh. She is always up for a game of fetch or a good belly rub. Artemis has hip dysplasia and has become a rockstar at swim therapy. It would be truly beneficial if she could continue this therapy. She is a true companion and will be your best friend for life. Artemis is a wonderful dog who is just waiting for the perfect forever home. She is a true gem and will be a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a furry friend to add to your family, consider adopting Artemis - she's worth it!

Fostering Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
A potential adopter sees one of our animals on your website and inquires about an animal. 1) The inquiry is viewed by the person checking emails. If there are questions raised about the inquiry an email will be sent to the potential adopter. For example, if it says that the person is looking for a small dog and the inquiry is in regard to a 50 pound dog, we would email the person asking if they were still interested in the dog with the knowledge that the dog is bigger than what they said they wanted. 2) If there are not any questions about the inquiry, the inquiry is sent to the person fostering the animal and the foster responds to the person. 3) The potential adopter is asked to fill out an application 4) The foster checks the application to see if it sounds like a good fit for the animal 5) If the application seems like a good fit, the references are contacted and a home visit may be required. 6) If the references are good, the foster will set up a meet and greet (if adopting a dog, any current dog the potential adopter has must meet the foster dog). 6) If the meet and greet goes well the animal can be adopted.
