My name is Arrow, and I am a very sweet and affectionate boy with an even-keeled temperament. While puppies are adorable....so am I! I have amazing brown eyes that you can melt into...I adore giving kisses and having cuddles and making new friends. When I am out walking nicely on a leash, I want to say HELLO to everyone! People of all sizes and other dogs alike! Now...not to brag...but my foster says I am intelligent, highly food motivated, neutered, up to date on shots, crate trained, house trained...and the list goes on! See...I am the total package! What I have learned about myself is NO APARTMENT living for me. A house with a yard and quiet streets sound like a dream to me! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Tail wags and sweet kisses-Arrow Arrow is a total love bug who adores kisses, cuddling, and making new friends. He walks well on leash (though he’d love to say hi to everyone!) and enjoys other dogs, Arrow is ready to bring joy and affection to his future home. **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
