ARNOLD's Story
11/24/25 11:49 Alarm barking, spinning in kennel. Allows handling outside of kennel. Dog would come up and check in with handler with loose body posture. No issues returning to kennel. Recommend available but also needs rescue due to dog showing signs of high FAS. Date: 11/01/2025 Today’s Adventure: Arnold was excited from the start, hopping into the SUV and heading straight for Almaden Lake. Once there, he launched into full “sniff mode,” splashing through the water multiple times and greeting fellow dogs, walkers, and fishermen along the way. The adventure continued onto the Los Alamitos Trail, totaling about 5 miles. He wrapped up the morning relaxing in the shade, enjoying treats, belly rubs, and rolling happily in the grass before heading back to the shelter. What Adopters Should Know: Arnold loves the outdoors—especially water, dirt, and exploring new trails. He would thrive with an active person who enjoys hiking and adventure. After a fun day out, he’s also a big fan of cuddling up for a cozy night in. Arnold has a big personality, a loving heart, and would make a wonderful companion for an active, affectionate home. Three Words to Describe Me: Explorative, Energetic, Inquisitive
