Arnie's Story
Arnie is in a foster home in San Antonio and he can travel to a foster or adopter in the PNW.

Little Arnie is a sweet, busy little guy! He’s about 18 months and 14 lbs. Breed combo guesses are: Dachshund, Chihuahua, Min Pin, Jack Russel terrier, Basenji?? He has a funny little bark but doesn’t use it much. His body is long and muscular. He has great, expressive ears and a working dog spirit! So, if you are looking for a small dog, but still want the endurance to hike, walk or just a buddy to keep up, this could be your guy!

Arnie was found as a stray with his brother. They were roaming a neighborhood and taken to a Vet Clinic for their safety, but nobody claimed these boys. We were asked to help them out. He’s missing his brother a bit and is happiest if he has a playmate. We will be looking for a home with a dog that would be a good fit for him.

Arnie comes off a bit shy to start, but he quickly warms up. He is crate trained and house trained. It does not appear that he has had any leash training, so he is working on that in foster care. But this guy is ACTIVE! He’d be his best self with a securely fenced yard, a dog door to let himself in and out, and a pal to keep up with him in play. With that, he can entertain himself for hours!!

He takes pride in keeping the yard and fence line clear of squirrels and intruders, he’s moving and shaking all day long, playing with toys and running in the yard. It’s hard to convince him to take a break😂.. but he will.

Arnie's adoption fee is $550 and includes his transport, vaccinations, neuter and microchip. 100% of the fee goes to his care.

Please contact Carla at carlarelf@mac.com for more information.

https://www.facebook.com/PacosNet
