Armani's Story

So we all know that my heart is with the disabled and Armani is one of those ❤️

He is around 8 months old and has CSM (cervical spondylomyelopathy) which is a neurological disease affecting the neck region of the spine which causes spinal cord compression causing an unsteady gait like he’s drunk. This disease also affected his bowels and urination. He can’t hold his bathroom and has to wear diapers. This disease is more common mostly common in Dobermans and Great Danes. He’s also maturing now so he will need a very experienced owner who can give him corrections and discipline as Dobermans can get very protective so we need to keep him social. He also will ingest ANY item he sees. Blankets, towels, toys and anything off counters. He needs to be supervised at all times or else he’s going to ingest an item that he may need a surgery to recover from.

This guy loves all people and other animals but I will be searching for a specific person that can handle his needs and help him through it all.

This is a great dog but a challenging dog so you’ll have to impress me if you want this handsome guy, and I’m very hard to impress 😂

He falls down a lot too so he gets some battle wounds as well, hence his nose when he face planted the floor last week.

If interested in adopting, please go to dalistotherescue.com/adopt and fill out a pre-adoption application.

For any questions, CALL (989) 463 9797.

This is a great dog but a challenging dog so you’ll have to impress me if you want this handsome guy, and I’m very hard to impress 😂

He falls down a lot too so he gets some battle wounds as well, hence his nose when he face planted the floor last week.
