Meet Arman
Arman is approximately 2 months old and 10 lbs. Arman is sibling to Aruna, Ashur, Altan, Alba, Asha, Alfa and Abe. Arman is seeking a playful and cuddly human for life. He loves his toys and romping around with his siblings. He is ready for a fun-loving, adventurous family to play with and teach him all the best manners! He likes to use his mouth for play and would benefit greatly from having training and socialization on board from day 1.
These pups were dropped off at the shelter at an early age and because of this the training the pups would usually receive from mom did not occur. These pups will need help with training and obedience. Work on socialization which includes introducing them to new people, places and experiences and helping them to be happy and confident as they explore the world.
The adoption fee of $350 includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations including distemper/parvo combination vaccine and bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm preventative, flea preventive, and a microchip. The adopter is responsible for the next age-appropriate vaccines and medical treatments.
To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us.
Often there is very little known about our dogs' and puppies' history or even current habits. We are best guessing on breed blends. We can't guarantee there is or isn't a specific breed in their breed blend.
You can always expect to do training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. Expect a 10+ year financial, physical, and emotional commitment to this canine. We provide a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this. All dogs and especially puppies are a lot of work and a long financial commitment. Please research what it means to have a dog and make sure a dog is still going to be an important part of your life in 10-15 years. All dogs and puppies need a lot of patience and guidance.
Most dogs who are in shelters will need an adjustment period after adoption. No matter how nice our shelter is and how much attention they get from our volunteers, it is not a home and they will need time to acclimate and get rid of some nervous energy.
