He’s friendly after a minute, warms up beautifully once he feels secure, and thrives in calm environments with patient humans. Arlo is affectionate, sensitive, and sweet — a quiet companion who wants to follow you around, sit near you, and feel safe with you.

He loves other small dogs and enjoys gentle play. With large dogs, he can be selective and prefers slow introductions. Arlo is still working on house training, crate training, and leash manners, but he tries hard and responds well to gentle encouragement.

Please note – if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/

Must have: calm home, gentle handling, patient adopter, predictable routine

Exercise: moderate – short walks, yard time, gentle play

Best with: quiet households, adults, another small dog

Not ideal for: busy homes, loud environments, young children, big dogs

Energy level: medium

Arlo is shy at first but friendly once he feels safe.
