Arlo – From Abandoned Puppy to Total Lovebug

Arlo’s story started in the hardest way—he was just a young dog, dumped in an orchard in California with no one looking out for him. He was starving when we rescued him and in such rough shape that he appeared to be very old. But somehow, this sweet boy didn’t lose his ability to love.<br/>Today, Arlo is safe… and as we write this, he’s curled up right next to us, pressed against a leg, just wanting to be close. He loves being near you—whether that’s lounging on the couch, resting at your feet, or leaning into you for comfort or running in the backyard.<br/>He has a soft, loving nature and is happiest when he feels safe and included. <br/><br/>Arlo’s Health (and the Good News 💛):<br/>Arlo has a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which means his body can’t properly absorb nutrients from food on its own.<br/>✨ The important part:<br/>This condition is very manageable.<br/>All Arlo needs is a powdered enzyme added to his meals, and it allows his body to digest food properly—helping him gain weight, stay healthy, and thrive.
