While he`s sweet and affectionate with people, he`d much rather spend his time having fun with other dogs. Playful and energetic, Arlo loves toys and is always ready for a game. He`s great on leash after he`s had some exercise - a perfect partner for daily walks, runs, or hikes. Gentle with treats and eager to please, though he does need some training to help him grow into his full potential. Arlo is best suited for homes with kids 12 and older who can keep up with his active lifestyle. A big treat lover who thrives on attention and affection, Arlo is a loyal, playful, and energetic companion ready to join you on your outdoor adventures! Arlo is currently in foster and this is what his foster parent has to say: He is doing so well! He has gained so much confidence since being with us. He was a little unsure with us at first, but now he loves to cuddle and loves kisses. He is very excitable and has the cutest little wiggle butt lol. He would probably do best with older kids because of his energy, making him a good hiking buddy! He is great in the crate and uses the potty outside. It took him about 2 weeks to fully get the doggy door, and we are still working on sit. He has the best, most outgoing personality. He is so sweet. He has not been aggressive with food or toys. He loves playing with the other dogs, and he has not been destructive at all. We left him outside of his crate by himself for about 30 minutes when we ran an errand, and he did so well. Anyone would be lucky to have him. Arlo got to go on a Doggy Day Out at the Railyard Market and did great!
