It does take him a short time to warm up to new people. But once he feels comfortable, he shows his affectionate and amusing personality. Arlo a 2-year-old toy poodle mix weighs around 7 lbs. He is playful and requires at least one other dog in the home to play and help him socialize. He is more comfortable with dogs than humans. Arlo also requires a fully fenced secure yard. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Arlo experiences, fear and anxiety around leashes, harnesses and even his collar. He was one of five toy poodle mixes rescued by the dog warden from the woods in Holmes County. Arlo is gradually becoming more confident, exhibiting playful and loving traits. However, he remains shy and skittish around people, looking to other dogs for guidance. He thoroughly enjoys affection when received, but will require another dog in the home to mentor and support his development. A fully fenced, secure yard is essential, as Arlo is not leash-trained and startles easily at new or loud sounds.
