Ario's Story

Ario is a happy, playful boy who is always ready for his next adventure! He loves playing more than napping and would much rather chase a toy than snack on treats. He's active, excited, and eager to greet new friends, making him a fun-loving companion who brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm wherever he goes. Ario loves both people and other dogs equally and especially enjoys having animal playmates to keep him company. Being a true social butterfly, he prefers being around his humans but also loves having other dogs around. He currently lives with other dogs, and his interactions have gone mostly well. Like any young, active pup, he may need some additional training and redirection at times as he continues learning appropriate play and social skills. He does well with children in the home and would love a family who can keep him active, engaged, and included in their daily lives. Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy

Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
