ARIES (0086) Hi everybody, Im Aries! Im a 2-year-old male large pittie/husky mix. I tested well with other dogs and I was non-reactive in the cat room. I am a reserved guy that is learning how to be confident. I need a breed-experienced home with a fenced yard so that I can feel safe and secure while I settle in! If thats you, apply for me today! *ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS- PLEASE READ!*** Kennels are open Monday-Saturday 11-3:30 pm. Adoptions are still taking place BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, so we recommend coming to the kennels to view the animals only if you are planning to fill out an application. You MUST include proof of home ownership or notarized letter from your landlord WITH your application to be considered. Applications will be reviewed and pre-approved for a subsequent meet and greet/adoption appointment. Bridgeport Animal Control Facilites's Adoption Policy

Due to COVID-19, Bridgeport Animal Control is operating by appointment only. The kennels are not open for walk-throughs. Adoptions are conducted by appointment only. To secure an adoption appointment please send in our adoption application to animal.shelter@bridgeportct.gov (remember to include proof of home ownership or a notarized letter from your landlord stating you can have pets.) Once your application is pre-approved, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. Dog Adoption: $80 (includes spay/neuter, 2 vaccinations and a microchip) Cat Adoption: $60 (includes spay/neuter, 2 vaccinations, and a microchip) Be advised that Bridgeport Animal Control does not adopt out unspayed/unneutered animals. Adoption appointments consist of a meet and greet as well as completion of paperwork. Animal Control then schedules a spay/neuter appointment at the veterinarian. Pickup of your new pet is scheduled for after this surgery.
