Ari's Story

ARI - Mr. Cool

Age: 10 Years
Sex: Male
Size: Large
Good With Dogs: Yes
Good With Cats: No
Good With Children: Yes

Ari is one cool dog. Ricardo Tubbs and Sonny Crockett cool. So we decided to have a little fun with with Ari and pastel colors. Mr. Cool is comfortable in just about any setting, and like Crocket and Tubbs he knows how to turn heads and make friends. Ari is the perfect companion for your road trip and he doesn’t even need a Ferrari Testarossa. Just a friend and a car for those road trips (or chasing bad guys). Ari’s owner had to move out of the country and his daughter asked Sedona to find a home for Ari.

Ari has lived with children, adults and dogs all his life. You can trust him alone in your house and he also is comfortable in a crate. He is well behaved and well trained. Although he is a little cautious of cats at first, he will try to chase and bark, so no kitties in the household. Otherwise, if you are looking for an easy going chill German Shepherd, Ari will fit your bill. He is healthy, happy and waiting for the next episode in his life.

Please note:

Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's mission is to rescue adult and senior German Shepherd and mixes and find them loving homes. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary has a streamlined process for applying to adopt a German Shepherd. We do require a short application be completed that includes a veterinary reference, personal references and a home visit. You must own your own home. We do NOT require a fenced in yard or prior German Shepherd experience. On occasion if we have a younger adult dog that would benefit from a more experienced handler we will note that appropriately on the dog's listing. Our adoption fee is: Ages under 3 years old: $450 Ages 3 to 8: $250 Over 8 years old: $150 (or waived) For dogs older than 10 or with medical issues we will waive the adoption fee. This is done on a case by case situation. We do not adopt puppies. If you are interested in adopting a dog under 4 years old there are a number of respectable German Shepherd Rescues in the New Jersey metropolitan area that can accommodate you, including Shepherd's Hope Rescue and Garden State German Shepherd Rescue. From time to time we may get younger Shepherds or similar working breed dogs. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary is
