Meet Archie, an approximately 10-year-old pit bull mix with the softest soul and the biggest heart. Archie spent much of his life outside on a chain before coming to us, and now he’s ready to soak up all the love he missed out on.<br/><br/>Archie adores human companionship and is happiest when he’s close to his favorite people. He walks well on leash but prefers short, slow strolls and staying near home, where his cozy spots are. He is house trained, enjoys car rides, and is perfectly content with a calm, laid-back lifestyle.<br/><br/>Archie does need to be the only pet in his home. He has arthritis in his knees and elbows, which makes him slower to get around, and he also has multiple skin cancer lesions on his belly. Because of these ongoing health concerns, Archie is looking for a Fospice (forever hospice) home where he can be comfortable, cherished, and loved for the rest of his golden years.<br/><br/>The ideal home for Archie is quiet and peaceful, with a soft place to rest, gentle affection, and the occasional outing for a pup cup.
