Meet Archer....this boy was so misunderstood and left at a high kill shelter to face euthanasia alone. But we at Gem State said "Oh Heck NO, not on our watch"! This bot is currently with a foster and has proven he was worth every moment to save him. Archer is a good balance of energy and calm. Enough energy to want engagement & play, yet easy to calm and settle on a couch or dog bed. He walks well on a leash, dog friendly with neutral dogs and even cats safe. Archar is neutered, vaccines are up to date, microchipped & housebroke. He can be transported nationwide. Gem State Service Dogs & Rescue's Adoption Policy

A potential adopter is sent an pre-screening application for adoption and once the rescue gets the application back after it's approved, we will call to interview the applicant, then the person or family can arrange to meet the dog. If all goes well and the adopter wants to move forward the rescue will arrange to do a home check and bring the dog with the necessary adoption contract and all records. At that point is when we would leave the dog with the new family.
