I was lied to at the dropping off so I have two theories as to why, first the adopter got a new boyfriend and the boyfriend said he needed to go. Second When Archer returned I noticed he had nervous peeing. Which when he meets someone and he pees, also if you raise your voice. So he was probably peeing in the house, with lack of potty training and she wasn't using his kennel. It makes for a perfect storm.

Since Archer has returned we have been full on potty training. But I lack the time to be 100% on it. At the most he gets 45 minutes of free time before he is outside again or in a kennel. Once he has settled the nervous peeing has stopped. We are also a more quieter house with no yelling or screaming. I run a tight schedule with the dogs. So they know outside time, kennel time, house time.

I have Archer back to being kennel trained. It's URGENT at least until he can be trusted to use a kennel with Archer, When you leave the house or if he will be alone. He is still a puppy and will chew things, and if you happen to be gone longer then expected puppies can only hold their bladder for so long. He should be able to come out of the kennel overtime, but he needs it for the first few months.

Archer likes woman more than men. I am not sure why as there are men at the rescue and they are raised around them. But I have a feeling this has to do with the adoption and how he was treated. He was adopted with a kid in the home and did fine. He has been ok with the house cats, but again never left alone with them, so I can't say 100% he is fine. I think with proper introduction and correction if needed he would be fine.

Archer came to us after being found dumped in Yakima with his mom and siblings. Thankfully, we were able to bring the whole family into rescue, and now that everyone is fixed and thriving—Archer is ready for his next big adventure: a forever family!

Now nearly a year old, Archer is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves to explore the world around him, chase after a ball, and soak up attention. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, making him a wonderful companion for a home with other pups.

**Archer will come with two free training sessions. Archer will need time to adjust to a new home. He won't come in and just magically be the perfect dog. He needs time to trust you, get to know your routine and where does he fit in. He will need structure, and patience. Although once Archer is settled and happy he will be the most amazing dog you have ever adopted.****

Crate trained
Potty trained (was when adopted working on it again)
Walks well on leash
Loves car rides
Social, snuggly,

Archer is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on DAPP vaccines. We just updated his rabies vaccine.

If you're looking for a happy, well-rounded young dog to join your life, Archer might just be the perfect fit.
