Meet Archer

Archer is a dalmatian around 8 months old. He's very thin and weighs only 40lbs, he inhales his food so hopefully soon we won't see those ribs so much. His favorite game is keep away where he LOVES to steal anything he can get, socks, spatulas, shoes, and loves to run around the ottoman or center island while you chase him. He is 100% puppy and loves to play and super excitable. Archie has learned to be a great walker on the leash, he ignores humans and other dogs, but he does like to pick up sticks, pine cones, rocks along the way. I walked him 4 miles and he could have kept going. He LOVES our dogs. He would love another dog to follow around. He's definitely not the dominant dog, very submissive, rolls over on his belly to submit. He's working on potty training-working. Sleeps in his kennel from 10 pm-6 am and does not make a peep or have any accidents! He needs slow introductions to men, but after a few minutes he warms up. He needs to be near a person or another dog at all times, stage 5 clinger but will go in his kennel whenever needed.

Archie will need an owner who has time to keep training him, patience, daily walks, active, and someone who will puppy proof their house like they have an active toddler. Archie will be an amazing dog for the right family. His adoption fee is $300 - apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet Archer! All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.

Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
