Archer's Story

Archer is a 4-year-old Border Collie who is a little different — and that’s okay. He’s the kind of dog who needs someone willing to understand him, respect his boundaries, and give him the chance he deserves.

Archer will need a quiet, adult-only home with limited visitors. Because he is fearful of new people, he may nip when he feels uncomfortable, so a home where he won’t be frequently exposed to unfamiliar people is very important.

Archer is truly a dog who likes to do his own thing. He isn’t constantly looking for attention and is perfectly content just hanging out nearby. When he wants some love, he’ll come to you! In his foster home, he has a kennel with the door left open and spends quite a bit of time relaxing in it, although he has not needed to be kenneled.

Once Archer is comfortable in his home, he will likely choose one person to form a particularly strong bond with. He has done wonderfully in his foster home simply by being allowed to be himself and having his space respected.

Archer will require a securely fenced yard. He does not do well in the car or on walks and has a strong tendency to chase cars, so a fenced yard will be essential for his safety.

The good news? Archer loves other dogs! He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and especially enjoys having canine friends to play with.

Archer is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, and his adoption fee has been sponsored!
If interested in archer please click the link below for adoption application .

https://form.jotform.com/50308432400137
