Archer's Story
THE FIRST STEP: Please go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" for our adoption application, and to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process, adoption costs and vet care included! *PLEASE NOTE: WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS, the short Petfinder questionnaire is *not* our adoption application.*

APPLICATION & INFO:
https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html

ARCHER
Dear Archer joined us a few weeks ago, after he was found disheveled and wandering by himself in Detroit. He waited through his stray hold time at Detroit Animal Care and Control, but no family reclaimed him. We're so delighted that this sweet guy is part of the Bark Bark Wag family! He's 4 years old, weighs 16#, and is filling out very nicely! Archer is a Shih-Tzu and scruffy Terrier blend, he's a cutie with short little legs and a realllly long body! He's so lovable and hopeful, and has lots of good playful energy! Archer's favorite things include: playing with dog friends of all sizes, snuggling up on the couch with his foster family, car rides, and allll kinds of enrichment toys (kong, licki-mat, etc.)! He's learning about leash walks with a harness and doing well; he also adores doing his zoomies in a safe fenced yard! He's brushing up on housetraining, and does best when on a regular schedule. He doesn't love a crate (we suspect he may have spent too much time crated in his earlier life); he's much happier in
a room behind a baby gate if needed, though he'd much rather be with the humans! :) Archer's 'best fit' furever home will have a physical fenced yard, and a dog pal he can be besties with (and follow for life tips)! An adult family (or one with respectful kids 8+) where someone is home a lot of the time would be *amazing* for him (a stay-at-home parent or a work from home situation). Sweet Archer thrives on kind reassurance, and knowing that someone is there for him after his scary time on the streets. Archer is so excited to have his own family to love, who will love him always!

Learn more and apply here: 📝
https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html

#DACC
#detroitspecial

Barkbarkwag.org 🐶
