April's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet April! April is a 1-2 year old female pomeranian and she weighs about 11 pounds. April arrived in rescue after coming from a home that could not properly care for her. Her foster mom says: April is a gentle, sweet-natured little girl with a quiet charm that really shines once she feels safe. She does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a calm canine companion in her new home. April walks nicely on a leash and seems to enjoy her time outdoors, taking in the world at her own pace. She is very tolerant of grooming routines, including baths and brushing, which makes her an easy pup to care for. While she may be a bit shy at first, especially around men, April warms up with patience, kindness, and a calm environment. She would do best in a home that understands her sensitive nature and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust. April has a playful side, but she’s not particularly interested in toys—she much prefers gentle interaction, companionship, and just being near her people. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly bond with you and become a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, low-key dog who will blossom with love and patience, April could be the perfect fit for your home

April is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.

April is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $375. If you are interested in applying to adopt April, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
