Appollo's Story

Apollo is a very gentle and calm boy in doors. He loves getting affection and being brushed. He is a very sweet boy to his foster sister. He stayed with another friend (who fosters many dogs) and Apollo did very well with her 5 male dogs of various sizes, ages, and breeds. Apollo LOVES to play fetch and shows potential to be trained as a sporting dog, as he excels in fetch!

Apollo can be slightly shy meeting strangers for the first time, but warms up very quickly. A pet sitter stayed with him on Thanksgiving and within an hour she was giving him belly rubs. Apollo loves to go for walks. He is leash trained, but can be stubborn when he wants to stop and smell something. He responds well to positive reinforcement on the leash. He was tested around some rambunctious children and he gave them their space.

Apollo does wonderfully being left out in the house, and has never chewed anything besides toys or bones. As fosters we have also been crate training Apollo, and he has taken to crate training very well!

Apollo is an easy boy who wants his daily exercise of fetch and/or walks and is happy to chill the rest of the time.

Apollo is being fostered in San Marcos, Tx
