Apple's Story

After being fostered for nearly a year and undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms, I'm pleased to announce that Apple is now heartworm negative and available for adoption! She weighs under 25 pounds, is potty trained, crate trained, and does know some commands. In addition to many positive traits, she's also the most loving and affectionate little girl. Makes the perfect little lap dog. She loves kids and gets along great with cats! Apple is fully vetted: spayed, up to date on annual vaccines, and heartworm negative! She appears to have terrier and Chihuahua in her. As much as she loves people, she's very dog selective and is nervous around big dogs. So a single dog household would probably be best. We believe that she's about two years old. Her adoption fee locally is $175. To Adopt up north it would be $450 to cover transport as well as additional veterinary cost. ArkanPaws Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

There are steps. 1. The person must apply for the pet. We require the applicant give three personal references, a vet reference (if they have owned, or own a pet), a land lord approval if they rent. They are required to answer several questions regarding their living/work situation. Please check our website at www.arkanpaws.org for complete information about our adoption process. We're a foster based organization based in Conway, Arkansas. If you're in the immediate area, you are welcome to schedule a Meet N Greet with any of our dogs - please call or email us at least a day in advance. If you are out of area, please feel free to request a video and additional photos, as well as an extensive conversation with the foster parent who is sheltering your potential new fur friend.
