Apollo's Story

Someone is the biggest cuddle bug you will ever meet, and that face is too darling to resist! Apollo is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 53 pounds.

Meet Apollo, a gentle soul who's a little shy at first but has a heart as big as can be. With a quiet and docile personality, Apollo is the perfect gentleman. He is quite well mannered, has a solid “sit” and walks nicely on leash, such a good boy. This sweetie is more interested in finding a friend in you than playing with toys. He just needs a little time, guidance, and a leader to look up to, to help him build his confidence and trust. Once he feels safe and loved, Apollo's gentle nature blooms, and he leans in for all the love and affection you can give. He may prefer a quieter, more predictable type home to match his personality. With a loving family, Apollo will thrive and return your love tenfold. He will need a home where any children are calm, respectful and at least 8 years old. Apollo would love it if you came to meet him, he can’t wait for a family to love him forever.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Apollo would love to meet them. He has a friendly, loose approach with other dogs, but is really more interested in getting attention from humans.

If you are interested in Apollo and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
