Apollo's Story

At 32 lbs with room to grow, Apollo is a handsome pit/terrier mix puppy rocking a bright white coat adorned with two perfectly placed brown circles on his back and hind end - like little targets
guiding you straight to his heart. And trust us, once you meet him, you won't miss.
Apollo is the definition of a wiggle butt. His whole body gets involved when he's excited (which is often), and he greets every human and dog like they're long-lost friends. This boy has a true zest for life and approaches each day like it's an adventure waiting to happen. Whether he's making new canine pals, soaking up affection from his people, or exploring the world around him, Apollo brings pure joy wherever he goes.
He does well in his crate and is ready to continue learning all the good-boy basics with a family willing to provide love, structure, and positive training. As a young pup, he'll thrive with guidance, fun outings, and plenty of playtime - followed by well-earned snuggles.
Apollo isn't just looking for a home - he's searching the galaxy for his forever family. If you're ready for a loyal companion who will rocket straight into your heart and fill your days with laughter, wiggles, and unconditional love, Apollo is ready for launch.
*Sleepover feedback: "Apollo is a small bundle of love! He craves affection and wants to be close to his people. He happily lounged and dozed on the couch between two of us, occasionally gnawing on a chew toy".
*Additional feedback: "He was great on a leash. I took him for a hike in Umstead Park and he did great. He always did great on a leash around my apartment complex. He loves people and other dogs. Definitely a love bug and so sweet. Every time he rode in the car, he was an angel. In the car he would lay down and rest. He loves a bully stick and is easily redirected to it. He is a sweet dog. Anyone would be lucky to have him. I got pretty attached to him in those two days because of what a good dog he is".

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
