Apollo's Story

Apollo is a 1-year-old Husky who came to our shelter due to changes in his owner’s living situation. Despite a rough start in life, Apollo is a resilient and loving dog who is learning that people can be kind and trustworthy.

Apollo can be shy and cautious around men at first, but with patience and gentle interactions, he warms up beautifully. After just a few days, he has already formed positive bonds with the men on our shelter team—showing how much progress he can make in a safe, loving environment.

He walks well on a leash, keeps his kennel clean, and knows how to sit on command. Apollo does best in a home without cats, but he seems to do well with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys canine companionship.

Apollo is neutered and up to date on vaccines, and he’s ready to find a home that will give him the kindness, consistency, and love he deserves.

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion and are willing to give him a little time to build trust, Apollo could be your perfect match.
