Meet Apapane — A Little Hawaiian Sunshine! <br/><br/>DOB: 7/7/26<br/><br/>This little island boy has quite the story! Apapane made his way to us from Kauai after the destruction caused by Hurricane Lowell, and even landed on the East Coast in the middle of a Nor’easter! But nothing has managed to dampen this boy’s spirit. He’s resilient, cheerful, playful, and ready to find a family to call his own!<br/><br/> A few things to know about Apapane:<br/><br/>- Loves playing with other dogs (especially ones who can keep up with his puppy energy!)<br/>- Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite!<br/>- Very treat-motivated and already knows how to sit!<br/>- Loves a cozy, comfy bed after a busy day of puppy adventures.<br/>- Working on his potty training and learning all about being a good house pup.<br/><br/>Apapane is a typical energetic puppy who is still learning the very important art of settling down. He loves his foster dog siblings, but sometimes his enthusiasm gets the best of him! He would thrive with a young, playful canine companion who enjoys a good romp and can match his energy. An older, more laid-back dog probably wouldn't appreciate his puppy shenanigans quite as much!<br/><br/>This sweet boy would do best with a consistent daily routine, patience, and a family willing to help him learn, grow, and become the amazing dog he's meant to be. <br/><br/>He’s already weathered quite an adventure to get here.
